About Us
Just a Island Girl...
I am just a Island Girl far from where she grew up. I was born in
California and moved to the island of O'ahu in Hawaii. I spent the
majority of my formative years there and traveled back and forth to
California to visit relatives during the summer. Living in Hawaii taught
me many things and I learned to appreciate the culture, the values, and
the spirit of the 'Aina. I try to impart a little of those things into everything I
create.
I currently live in Missouri with my Husband and 3 kids. I craft and
participate in Festivals and Craft Shows to help supplement our income
so I may stay at home with our youngest child.

My Interests...
What are my interests, you might ask? Well I guess it really depends on
what day of the week it is or what side of the bed I got up on. I love to
make things. All kinds of things! I enjoy making things for other people
to love.
Currently I have been focusing on Ribbon. I have been creating
headbands, bows, key chains and recently have branched out to making
pendants from glass tiles, scrabble tiles and dominos.
I have a kiln and create one of a kind platters that you find in boutiques.

Last year more than 20,000
parents, children and relatives
attended to the first ever Jiggle
Jam Family Music Fest, making
it the largest family music
festival in the Midwest. And,
there’s even more in store for
2009
In addition to live, youth-oriented
performances by They Might Be
Giants, Dan Zanes, Brady
Rymer, Justin Roberts, Trout
Fishing in America, and favorite
Kansas City performers like “Mr.
Stinky Feet and Funky Mama,
the festival features musical
workshops, puppet shows, craft
activities, shopping, games,
food and drink. Wonderscope,
will be among the special
activities, as well as musical
chairs and coloring, and the
grounds of Crown Center
Square will be set up with the
popular bubble tents and
bouncy toys.
The first festival of its kind in the
Midwest, Jiggle Jam is
designed to generate the most
joyful sound in the world – that
of families having fun together!
